Level 1 – Lilac Band- non-Fiction – 8 Books – Early Years Readers

Books in the Lilac Band are wordless books that tell stories or give information through pictures.
These books will help children explore and develop the vocabulary and language patterns of stories as well as begin to discuss characters and suggest how the story might end.
Children may move between Lilac and Pink band books as you address different aspects of early reading.
Ages 3+.
These early years readers are a collection of book-banded books. Each collection of books is set at foundation, emergent, early or fluency levels and can be used alongside other popular reading schemes. They have carefully controlled levels according to a students reading age.
The  band for this set is Foundation Level.
