With Red banded readers, children will gain more confidence, starting to modify their own reading, reading more rhythmically and may know some more sight words.
Books within this band will have slightly longer text than that of Pink banded books and fiction text will contain simple story development.

Fantails are a collection of book-banded books. They have carefully controlled levels according to a students reading age.
Each collection of books is set at foundation, emergent, early or fluency levels and can be used alongside other popular reading schemes.
This set of books is – Early Level 1.
