With this puzzle the child discovers the structure of the tree trunk.
Trees add new wood to the outside of the existing wood forming a new growth ring over one year.
Dendrochronology is the scientific method of dating tree rings and the study of climate and atmospheric conditions during different periods in history from wood.
The puzzle gives the child an appreciation of the complexity and informative nature of a tree truck.
Size 28 x 30 cm.
Place the puzzle face down and the remove the elastic bands.
Lift away the base leaving the pieces on the lid.
Adult supervision is advised until the child shows sufficient dexterity and care for the pieces to work the puzzle on their own.
