This material allows the child to work short and long multiplications of whole and decimal numbers. The Decimal Checker Board is made up 49 squares colored in the hierarchical shades of green blue and red. The diagonal squares represent the hierarchies from millions to millionths and differentiate decimals from whole numbers. Colored Bead Bars and the Number Tiles are needed to perform the exercises.
