- Identify special features of geometric solids in an active way, i.e. be able to recognise and name them.
- Name and identify bodies in the environment.
- Distinguish bodies according to geometric criteria, using technical terms such as side face, edge, corner, side, diagonal, line, right angle, perpendicular, parallel, radius, cube, cuboid, prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone and sphere.
- Recognise that every solid is bounded by faces, that faces meet at edges and edges meet at corners.
- Draw cubes and cuboids as meshes and oblique sketches.
- Switch between these forms of representation and recognise and explain possible incorrect representations.
- Cuboid : 1 : H = 6 cm . B = 3.5 cm. C = 1.5 cm. 2 : H = 4 cm. B = 3.5 cm. C = 3 cm . 3 : H= 5 cm. B = 2.5 cm , C = 2.5 cm
Prism : 1 : H= 1.5 cm B= 6 cm 2 : H = 6 cm Base Side : 3 cm 3 : Hex H = 3.5 cm Sides : 2.5 cm
